So there has been a puke smell that has been growing consistently worse from the cubicle across the aisle from me. This morning the woman who sits there- Ro- called me over to ask me a question and I almost threw up from the smell... she didn't seem to notice, so I wondered if it was just me or if she had accidentally thrown up on herself and not cleaned it up properly. I didn't want to embarrass her by asking about it, so I kept quiet.
Well this afternoon some guys in the office came by and said they couldn't take it anymore...apparently the puke smell was wafting over to their desks. Ro had left for the day and so the search was on in the cubicle as to WHAT the smell could possibly be. As it turns out the smell was coming from a plant. Weird. Why did the plant smell like puke?
The answer to this came when Steve who sits next to Ro and the smelly plant (who incidentally seems to have a weak sense of smell right now because he just had a nose job correcting a deviated septum- because he was sitting so close and couldn't smell the nasty plant) said, "Oooohhh, I bet it smells bad because Ro waters the plant with her coffee."
WHAT??
Since when is it okay to water a plant with coffee? Anyway, hilarity ensued when it was decided that the plant must be thrown out (poor plant!). Getting it off the top of the hutch of the desk was difficult as the plant had been rejecting the coffee and it had turned into green goop. People literally gagged and we were lucky that nobody really threw up.
Still....puke is awfully funny.

That is hilarious that a) she was giving her plant coffee b) the plant was rejecting the coffee and c) that she couldn't smell the puke plant!
So sick- that chick should move to China. Her nasty smells would fit right in here...
