So the culminating summer of tennis experience happened this past weekend: I attended my first U.S. Open Tennis Match. It just so happened to also be the Women's Final. Warn came with me as The Shanna Show was unable to make it to town. The game was good (when I originally bought tickets I thought I was buying Men's tickets so I was a little bummed NOT to be seeing Federer who I have an absolute crush on). Henin is amazing and won in straight sets. Overall a great experience...definitely the classiest sporting event I have ever been to.

So fun!! I am really jealous, even though it was totally unfeasible for me to make it up there ... next year we will go to the men's :) You look great - how did you manage to do that when it was so blasted hot outside?!?
Yes!! Next year we WILL go to the mens. Let's try for the men's final :) I need some Roger in my life. Thanks for the compliment... I think it's just a good pic of me... my hair was terribly flat and gross from the humidity that night. Must have been shot from an okay angle.
