So Tuesday, March 13th my promotion was FINALLY announced. I am now the Communications Planning Supervisor at Maxus for SunTrust Bank and NuvaRing. Woo! Here is what the job description is from the internet:
Job Description
Media SupervisorResponsible for overseeing and guiding research and development of media plans, identifying target audience and ideal media outlets. Approves media mix and frequency as appropriate to client budget and objectives. May require a bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. May lead and direct the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department.
Matches up pretty well with what I am supposed to do. It's really satisfying to have come from such a horrible experience at my last job and to be at my new agency less than a year and get PROMOTED! I am really thrilled.

CONGRATS!! I am soooo thrilled for you. Seriously, its about time they realize what a gem you are! You totally deserve every ounce of praise that you're getting for being promoted! I just hope this doesn't mean even crazier hours for you workaholic! :)

I think everyone has to go through a dud or two before getting a great job you can love. I'm so glad you found it - and congrats on the promotion, that is awesome!!
