My Landlord SUCKS

So I think a common problem alot of Manhattan residents complain about is the housing situation here. No matter how crappy or out of the way your apartment is- it seems SO over-priced in comparison to what you are actually getting. I mean, I pay more in rent than a lot of the USA pays for their mortgage on a 3 bedroom house...and I live in a teeny studio, far away from the subway. Anyway...this weekend I got notice that they are "unstabilizing" my rent (who knew they could do that!) and I am going to have to pay ALOT more than the ridiculous amount I already pay!! So, it looks like I will be leaving NYC in about a year. I hate this housing crap. SO MUCH. My landlord is a complete piece of work. This just tops off the MANY problems I have had with him (not to mention that aside from his landlord issues he also is racist, sexist and a number of other things).
