Okay this past week or so, 2 of my favorite celeb crushes have been RUINED for me....
The first is Michael Phelps. Seriously, who didn't love him in the Olympics. What was he THINKING smoking pot and getting caught? I could deal with a DUI.. but now this? The crush is over. See People article.
Second. Christian Bale. I have loved him for YEARS! Who knew he was such an A-HOLE. Seems like I am just drawn to A-HOLES... even celebs who I don't know. THIS is just ridiculous. Bad form, Christian.
Guess that leaves 2 openings on my celeb crush list....looks like things are looking up Alex Trebek.
Update: It appears Kellogg's one of Phelp's sponsors is none too happy... on puff of a joint, and you lose millions... seems like a stupid idea all around:

CHICAGO (AdAge.com) -- One bong hit seen around the world and Olympian Michael Phelps is watching at least one contract go up in smoke. Kellogg will let the swimmer's contract expire at the end of the month.
"We originally built the relationship with Michael, as well as the other Olympic athletes, to support our association with the US Olympic team," a Kellogg spokeswoman said in a statement. "Michael's most recent behavior is not consistent with the image of Kellogg. His contract expires at the end of February and we have made a decision not to extend his contract."

ok... i realize they are both idiots for getting caught- but
1. pot is not really a the worst drug ever... i would forgive someone for that (if i weren't religiously against it). i think its better than alcohol or cigarettes and has less health consequences too.
2. didn't see the clip- but maybe CB was just having a really bad day. that sometimes happens to the best of us...
sorry your bubble got burst though... i hate when that happens!

Anyway I get disheartened by celebs all the time too! Sad when they dissapoint.
