Karaoke

I love it. It's probably my all time favorite group activity. This weekend a friend of mine had a karaoke birthday party and I went. I was really sad that the place we went didn't have a very good playlist. The normal karaoke place has a superb list.... some of my favorite karaoke fav's are:

Before he Cheats- Carrie Underwood
Shoop- Salt N' Peppa
At Last- Etta James (though I might have to re-think that now that it's all Beyonce'd)
American Pie- Don McLean

The best group songs (in my opinion) are big hair 80's band love ballads.... think Meatloaf, Guns N' Roses....

Next time I Karaoke- I have tasked a male friend of mine to learn the guy part of "Endless Love"- could be totally classic. Also, "Hello" by Lionel Richie.

There is a place in Times Square called "Spotlight Live" that is a restaurant and a Karaoke place... all in one. I've actually never been but it sounds like a blast. I'll have to get some of my singing friends together to go. :)
